Cool and quiet. The TRI FROZR 3 thermal design from MSI improves heat dissipation all over the graphics card.
TORX FAN 5.0
TORX FAN 5.0 is the result of improvements in the design of the fans to increase the air pressure and its flow into the heatsink. Annular arches connect three sets of fan blades that tilt together at 22 degrees to maintain high-pressure airflow even at slower rotational speeds. The resulting increased airflow is 23% higher compared to an axial fan. The fan shroud extends slightly beyond the casing, allowing airflow to stabilize and move more smoothly through the fans. Prominent grooves under the cover help reduce air circulation, thus further improving airflow stability and slightly reducing noise.
Copper base plate standing directly in front of the heat
Heat from the GPU and memory modules is immediately absorbed by a solid base plate made of nickel-plated copper and then quickly transferred to an array of heat pipes. This expansion of the thermal transfer systems with highly efficient mechanisms improves the overall efficiency.
Core Pipes Keep the core cool
Core Pipes are precisely designed to maximize the available space. A square section of heat pipes fully touches the baseboard of the GPU and spreads the heat along the entire length of the heatsink.
Metallic back panel
Thermal pads under the sturdy metal backplate provide additional cooling while ventilation reduces trapped heat.
Double ball bearing
Two sets of durable ball bearings spin the TORX fans for years of intense, long gaming.
Zero Frozr
The fans stop completely when the temperatures are relatively low, which increases all the noise when no active cooling is needed. The fans will start spinning again automatically when the heat rises during the game.
